We interview Albert to know more about what he thinks about the future of startups and his first impressions in the entrepeneur world.
1. What does South Summit mean for you? What do you expect from this event?
South Summit is one of the most important Startups competitions today. An opportunity to show to the world where we have come from, where we have arrived and where we can arrive. The presentation of many success stories. A seal of quality and business triumph. Being among the 100 finalists is a real pride. We hope to get as far as possible and position ourselves as one of the companies to keep on mind in 2018 and have a great time.
2. Why did you decide to participate in the competition?
It is a unique opportunity to be part of something very beautiful. We believe that our project deserves to be known by the entrepreneurial community, we want to share it with all of them to help us grow.
3. Why did you decide to start your business and how did you come up with the idea?
Housfy is the union of two of my great passions: The real estate sector and the digitization of business. I had experience in both and I saw it very clearly. In addition, other factors also affected: the healing of the market for the sale of property in Spain, the need for the sector to modernize in order to solve the problems in the relationship with the customer, the opportunity to create a technological project in a city such as Barcelona, ... everything came very predisposed.
4.Why your company is useful for the user?
Housfy allows the client to sell a property without commissions or intermediaries, giving the power to the client. Our platform solves several problems associated with the real estate sector in recent decades: trust, price, transparency, efficiency, reliability, automation, etc. Housfy wants to save the client thousands of euros in commissions and improve their user experience, optimizing the time of sale, automating the processes, offering comfort and transparency, and achieving better results.
5. How did you feel when you knew you were finalist?
Absolute happiness because it is proof that we are doing things right.
6. What do you think it will happen in the future of startups?
A startup does not cease to be a starting company, it is true that we use this concept when the economic activity has some technological or innovative facet. In times of crisis is when people reinvent themselves to create projects. Many entrepreneurs will follow this path because they see in it the opportunity to grow quickly and contribute something to society. The companies of the future will be evolved startups.
7. What advice would you give to those who want to participate in South Summit?
Do not focus on competitions or trophies, the key is work and effort. A startup is like a wheel that cannot stop spinning until it consolidates. It is not easy, but if we spend time, effort and motivation the nominations come by themselves.
8. What does being an entrepreneur mean for you?
An entrepreneur is made from another material. I’m not saying we are better, not at all, but to be an entrepreneur you need to be restless, to be curious, to create something, to contribute, to invent, to innovate, you must have a lot of initiative and without fear of failure.
9. What´s your dream in life?
Like any entrepreneur I want to change the world in the best way I know, by disintermediating the sale of Real Estate. Before Amazon accomplishes it, which it will do it without a doubt, I would like to sell a house with a single click, that would be revolutionary, that’s my dream.
