We are delighted to introduce the Deep Tech track new to South Summit 2017 run in collaboration with Adara Ventures. With the explosion of deep tech solutions worldwide such as innovations in CyberSecurity, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence industries and corporations are trying to get their head around how these emerging technologies can be leveraged to create better efficiencies and new market opportunities.
In parallel DeepTech investments are growing rapidly with over $3bn invested in Europe alone since 2015. Europe is uniquely positioned to capitalise on new market opportunities in Deep Tech considering the volume of talent from engineers to academics working on some of the world’s most complex problems. Companies such as Darktrace, Deep Mind,Autonomy, and Arm have already made a global impact in the areas of AI, BigData, and IoT; who will be the next generation of Deep Tech startups to emerge from Europe and make a global impact? In this track we talk to some of the emerging stars of the Deep Tech sector inEurope and discuss trends and opportunities in key Deep Tech areas such as AI,Big Data, and Cyber Security.
